Carriers Available in Sirius II
Sirius II has a number of carriers with their own fibre connectivity in the building. These are utilised for direct connections to our customers, as part of our own multihomed bandwidth service (See Below) as well as diverse fibre connectivity back into Docklands for Layer-2 vLANs and MPLS.
The carriers onsite in Sirius II are as follows:
- BT
- NTL:Telewest (Virgin Media)
- Cable & Wireless
- Global Crossing
All carriers have their own fibre onsite with diverse building entry points and diverse routes.
4D Network and Bandwidth
The 4D network utilises aggregated BGP-4 transit feeds from Global Crossing, Cable & Wireless and Level3. Our network is fully burstable and fed directly into our UK gigabit back-bone. Our 99.999% uptime transit SLA gives guarantees on availability and against latency and packet loss ensuring quality connectivity.
We also have open peering policies on LoNAP.

Level 3 is an international communications and information services company and operates one of the world's largest Internet backbones. The company provides communications services across a 36,000-kilometer fibre-optic network to carriers, cable operators, wireless companies, Internet service providers, and other wholesale customers.
Global Crossing
Global Crossing's international network is a state-of-the-art IP backbone with a seamless footprint extending across major business and financial centres in Europe. This international network footprint carries the Eurorings Portfolio of data and IP services, which delivers a full range of carrier products, as well as corporate networking solutions for business customers.
